PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil degradation detecting sensor difficult to be damaged even when oil pulsations occur. SOLUTION: The oil degradation detecting sensor 10 is provided with a coil 3 arranged in an oil channel pipe 1, a strain gage 4 for detecting the strain of the coil 3, and a judging part 7 for judging the degradation of oil based on the strain detected by the strain gage 4. When the strain detected is larger than a first value, the judging part 7 judges that oil is degraded, and when the detected strain is smaller than a second value, the judging part 7 judges that the oil is degraded.
