PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable detailed tracking of the temporal progress of a reaction without introducing a spectroscopic probe to the vicinity of a decomposing section by constituting a chemical substance subjected to a decomposition reaction in such a way as to have both a section to be combined to high molecules on one side sandwiching a section to be cut by the decomposition reaction and a section to emit fluorescence on the other side. SOLUTION: A substance being a section to be specifically combined to high molecules on one side of a section to be separated in the case of the occurrence of a decomposition reaction and a section to emit fluorescence on the other side is prepared and combined to high molecules. Then a decomposition reaction is started, and the degree of the temporal progress of the decomposition reaction is obtained by measuring the degree of polarization or degree of depolarization of the fluorescence. Any reaction can be applicable as the decomposition reaction as far as the substance is decomposed and separated into two molecules or more. For example, the hydrolysis reaction of peptide and other various photolysis reactions and pyrolysis receptions can be applied. By measuring the degree of polarization or degree of depolarization of the fluorescence associated with the decomposition reaction, it is possible to measure the decomposition reaction with high sensitivity.
