PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make lightweight by further flattening a motor without sacrificing a delivery performance and a torque. SOLUTION: A cross sectional shape of a yoke is made to a flattened shape including a pair of flat portions 28a as possible. A brush retaining structure comprising a flat spring-like member of which a base portion 64 is fixed to a stator side and a brush 66 is fixed to a tip end side of an elastic displacement portion 65 extending from the base portion 64 is provided within a range of the cross section area of the yoke 28. The elastic displacement portion 65 is provided so as to extend in approximately parallel to the flat portions 28a of the yoke 28 and a base end thereof is provided at a position which is not opposed to both flat portions 28a. The base portion 64 of the flat spring-like member 61 is formed so as to extend to a direction approximately perpendicular to both flat portions 28a and a female terminal portion 63 to which a feeding terminal T is connected from the outside is provided on an inner periphery side of the base 64 so as to be disposed on an outer periphery side of a rectifier 33.
