摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission device for wheel wherein noises in running are reduced and stability and controllability are improved by controlling forced oscillation of a constant-velocity universal joint. SOLUTION: Outer rings 8 of a pair of constant-velocity ball joints 3 engaged with a serration 14 of a boss 7 are mounted on the right and the left side of a gear 2 at the transmission end of a gear transmission system so that phase of both constant-velocity universal joints 3 match with each other. Forced oscillation of a driving force transmission device for wheel is controlled by matching varying timing of thrust force which excites the pair of constant-velocity universal joint 3 to offset each other. Therefore, noises generated while a vehicle is running are remarkably reduced and also stability and controllability is also improved.
