PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of a large-capacitance backup capacitor from a motor controller by providing a nonvolatile memory in which a plurality of rotation signals given from a motor rotation detecting means can be written electrically after the signals are converted into positional data when the motor gets into a locked state. SOLUTION: Even when a power switch 20 is switched to a turning-off state, the present position of a window glass is detected by using the positional data of the glass written in a memory and the superscribed positional data of the glass. Since the voltage VB of a motor 5 is not dropped when memory writing is performed, no large-capacitance backup capacitor is required as compared with the case where the memory writing is performed in a short time after the switch 20 is turned off. Therefore, the capacitances of first and second backup capacitors C1 and C2 provided to a power supply block 9 can be reduced. |
