<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timer reservation device capable of managing timer reservations of electronic instruments constituting a system en bloc with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The remote control code receiving part 111 of a VTR 11 is covered with a light shielding body 108 and an infrared-ray emitting body 112 is attached to the side of the VTR 11 of the light shielding body 108. On the other hand, a remote control code processing part 105 is provided at the side of an STB (digital broadcast-receiver set-top box) 10. In the STB 10, the remote control code receiving part 106 receives all remote control codes of not only for the STB but also for the VTR 11 and the remote control code processing part 105 analyzes the remote control codes. The part 105 supplies the remote control code of the side of the VTR 11 to the remote control code receiving part 111 of the VTR 11 via the infrared-ray emitting body 112 in accordance with the result of the analysis. Thus, looking and listening and a video recording reservation are prevented from being overlapped by unitarily managing video recording reservation programs at the side of the STB 10.</p> |
