PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and inexpensive microwave phase shifter obtaining a large phase difference for a microwave with a low voltage. SOLUTION: A laser beam from a laser light source 1 becomes a carrier of the microwave, and is propagated by an optical waveguide 2 of an optical fiber, etc., to be branched to two optical paths by an optical fiber coupler 3a. An acoustooptical modulator 4 being an optical frequency shifter is inserted into one (optical path A) of the optical paths, and an optical phase controller 5 is inserted into the other (optical path B), and the optical phase controller 5 controls an optical phase by a minute reflection mirror having a drive mechanism.
|
