<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nearly odorless granulated soil conditioner made of new livestock excreta and excellent in handleability by utilizing the livestock excreta, especially raw bovine manure, raw porcine manure, etc., with an extremely high moisture content and to provide a new method for producing the soil conditioner. SOLUTION: This fertilizer or soil conditioner made of livestock excreta is obtained by nearly homogeneously sprinkling and feeding only raw livestock excreta from the upper part of an organic material in a fermentation process each time, repeating stirring, forcibly fermenting the resultant material over about 30 days, adding only one of three plant fertilizer major nutrients to the resultant primary treated excreta, providing semigranulated secondary treated excreta while continuing only the stirring for about 10 days without feeding the raw manure, further aging and fermenting the semigranulated secondary treated excreta, repeating agitation once in a stage in which the heat of fermentation thereof does not exceed 70 deg.C, finally affording tertiary treated excreta at <=20% moisture content ratio and thereby providing a completely fermented and aged granular material in which the fermentation is temporarily forcibly stopped.</p> |
