PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a thermoplastic resin string on the inner wall of a winding body from releasing even when the thermoplastic resin string winding body is attached or detached to a reel of an automatic packaging machine, by almost equalizing length of a plate body to an inner periphery size of the winding body, equalizing width of the plate body to a width size of the winding body, and applying repulsion when it is wound in a cylindrical shape. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin string is made of polypropylene, is extended to about 9.0 times, is about 180 kg in tensile strength, is 15.5 mm in width, and is 0.6 mm in thickness. As a shape loss preventing plate, a 190 mm wide, 700 mm long, and 1 mm thick plate body is formed from a resin sheet made by mixing recycled polyester and waste paper with a ratio of 2 to 3. Each of the shape loss preventing plates 2 is formed in a cylindrical shape, is inserted into the central part of a hollow of the polypropylene string winding body 1, and is tightly adhered to the inner wall of the hollow by repulsion. In this state, even if attaching/detaching of the polypropylene string winding body to a reel of an automatic packaging machine is repeated 10 times, the inside of the polypropylene string winding body does lose its shape.
