PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a band by sharing the shared band of a passive double star(PDS) frame among plural subscriber units (ONUs). SOLUTION: Plural ONUs 2 and a center device (SLT) 1 respectively connected to a LAN, a telephone set, etc., are connected by a star coupler 3 to constitute a PDS type optical subscriber's line sending device. The SLT 1 includes a router interface 11 to be connected to a router, etc. a V interface 12 to be connected to an exchange, etc., an XC 13, an OSU (optical subscriber's line interface) 14 and a control circuit (CONT) 15. The coupler 3, the SLT 1 and the ONUs 2 are connected through an optical transmission line 4. A PDS frame is provided with a down signal frame 6 and an up signal frame 7. The space area (shared area) 8 of the frame 7 is utilized by sharing among the plural ONUs 2. |
