PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer the image of an excellent quality by delicately corresponding to the various kinds of transfer conditions while reducing the cost of a device by suppressing a memory capacity required for the control system of a transfer output. SOLUTION: The absolute humidity of a device installation environment is detected from the outputs of a temperature sensor 61 and a relative humidity sensor 62, and optimum transfer voltage is calculated by using a specified linear function which takes the absolute humidity as a parameter, so that constant voltage control is executed so as to apply optimum transfer voltage calculated by such a way to a transfer roller 35. Thus, an optimum transfer output delicately corresponding to the various kinds of the transfer conditions including an absolute humidity condition is set while reducing the cost of the device by unnecessitating a large memory capacity required in the case of using a data table, so that the image of the excellent quality is formed. |
