PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control method and a printing controller capable of obtaining the number designated by a user of prints regardless of the physical limit of a printer. SOLUTION: A number (round-up after the decimal point) obtained by dividing UNum by PNum in a step S1201 is defined as the number J of printing jobs, and print data obtained at the first despool is subjected to PNum part printing being the upper limit of printer limit in a step S1206. Processing of steps S1206 to S1208 are repeated until the printing of a PNun part is performed J-1 times. When it is decided as the last time (the J-th job) in a step S1203, it proceeds to a step 1204 to find the number of copies at the last time. Because an output of PNum×(J-1) part is already finished at the point of this time, N being a remainder obtained by dividing UNum by PNum at the last time can be defined as the number of copies. It proceeds to a step S 1205, and printing is performed with N defined as the number of copies the J-th printing and is finished.
