PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs as a whole by a method wherein a coating tool, as a module, is made compact to reduce the amount of storing space or to facilitate handling of coating tools and further, all the parts or accessories can be used in common with one another. SOLUTION: A coating tool 40, which rotates at the time of coating, and a coating tool 50, which does not rotate at the time of coating, are disposed on a supporting frame 21 so as to be replaced. On the frame 21, two sets of bearing cases are provided, and each of the tools 40, 50 has an axis part 41a so that each tool can be mounted and dismounted from the bearing cases. The axis part of the tool 40, which can rotate, can be rotatably mounted to the bearing cases, while the tool 50, which does not rotate, can be mounted to a fixed part so that the axis part thereof mounted to the bearing cases cannot rotate. As a different coating tool, which does not rotate at the time of coating, a connection part 62a is provided so as to be releasably mounted to a receiving base 27a of each bearing case 27.
