PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve and display information related to a monitor object device by easy operation. SOLUTION: Data which can discriminate all alarm items to be displayed on a display device and can retrieve occurrence information of an alarm from release information of the alarm is stored in an alarm occurrence database 51. For example, an alarm is reported from the monitor object device to an information processing means 21 through an information reception equipment 1, and an alarm item is displayed on a display device 3 by an information display means 22. When alarm items released at a certain time are designated from an input device 4 and a pull-down menu or the like displayed by right click of a mouse is used to select them, information of the occurrence of the same alarm in the past is retrieved and displayed. Display contents are alarm occurrence information of the same alarm classifications and the same device classifications as alarm items designated by the input device, and the term when the alarm occurred can be specified with respect to an alarm item designated from these information.
