PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collecting device in which an offset caused in the circuit up to an input of an A/D converter after a multiplexer can be excluded and high resolution of the A/D conversion can be ensured independently of an amplitude of its input analog signal. SOLUTION: This data collecting device is provided with a 1st multiplexer 1 that selects any of a plurality of analog signals, a 2nd multiplexer 5 that is operated synchronously with the 1st multiplexer to select other signal among a plurality of the preset signals, an amplifier 2 that performs an arithmetic operation by output signals from the 1st and 2nd multiplexers, an A/D converter 3 that converts an analog signal outputted from the amplifier 2 into a digital signal, and an arithmetic processing unit 4 that applies signal processing on the basis of the digital signal obtained by the A/D converter 3 and instructs the 1st and 2nd multiplexers which signal is to be selected. The amplifier 2 changes the amplification factor of the output signal from the 1st multiplexer in accordance with the output signal from the 2nd multiplexer.
