PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small animal repellent capable of effectively repelling small animals such as a bird without wounding the animals. SOLUTION: This small animal repellent includes at least one kind selected from a group consisting of a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer, a polystyrene-based block polymer, a polybutadiene, a polyisoprene, a hydrogenation type polyolefin polymer, and a derivative thereof, a hydrocarbon-based resin, and an antioxidant, and has tackiness. The repellent is used by arranging the repellent on the course or a resting place of the animal.
