PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an electrophotographic photoreceptor having stabilized characteristics even at a high temperature and high humidity when it is repeatedly used in an electrophotographic process. SOLUTION: When one or more layers containing at least an organic electric charge generating material and an organic electric charge carrier material are formed on an electrically conductive substrate by coating to produce an electrophotographic photoreceptor, the drying temperature of a coating film after the coating of a photosensitive layer containing the organic electric charge carrier material is made higher than the boiling point of a solvent contained in a coating liquid for the photosensitive layer under the atmospheric pressure of the production environment and lower than the melting point of the organic electric charge carrier material contained in the coating liquid.
