PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent measurement errors caused by evaporation of a solvent or mixture of dusts in the air in sampling and analyzing a volatile organic solvent solution and a minute amount of element components from a sample container set to a turntable in an open state without a lid. SOLUTION: A lid 7 formed totally or partly of a magnetic material is capped to each sample container 1. An electromagnet 6 is set above a path where a sample container 1b for a sample to be analyzed next is moved towards a sampling position S and, energized with an appropriate timing. Accordingly, the lid 7 is removed from the sample container 1 for the sample to be analyzed next by a magnetic attraction force acting between the electromagnet 6 and the lid 7 capping the sample container 1. In the constitution, the sample container 1 on a turntable 2 is kept capped with the lid immediately before reaching the sampling position S, whereby the evaporation of a solvent which would be caused if the sample container is open, or the like is prevented.
