SOLUTION: This living body spectrum measuring device used for measuring the glucose concentration in skin tissues is constituted of a measuring probe 4 provided with a projection section 6 for projecting near-infrared rays to the skin tissues via a projection optical fiber 9 and detection sections 7 detecting the near infrared rays transmitted or diffusively reflected by the tissues. The center distance between the projection section 6 and the detection sections 7 is set at 0.1-2 mm, and a contact section 8 where the projection section 6 and the detection sections 7 are arranged is made of a material which does not transmit near-infrared rays. The near-infrared rays fed from the detection sections 7 are condensed to a photodiode 12 by a condensing lens 11, and a light reception signal is outputted. This signal is arithmetically processed by the method including a multivariate analysis, for example, and the concentration of the target component is obtained.
