TREATMENT AGENT FOR HIGH WATER CONTENT DREDGING (SEDIMENTARY BOTTOM) MUD AND TREATMENT METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment agent for high water content dredging mud excellent in flocculation properties and solid-liquid separation properties, good in the floccuration and compaction properties of a solid after treatment, flocculating dredging mud without exerting adverse effect on environment, capable of being used in a low pressure dehydrator used generally and fitted to large quantity treatment and a treatment method of dredging mud. SOLUTION: A treatment agent for high water content dredging mud characterized by containing an amphoteric guar gum is used in this treatment method and this treatment agent is added to high water content dredging mud with a water content ratio of 200-3,000% to form flocs and these flocs are subsequently dehydrated naturally or forcibly.
