A composition comprising a water-dissipatable polymer, dye, surfactant, water and organic solvent, wherein the surfactant comprises: (a) a surfactant having a sulpho or sulphate group; or (b) a non-ionic surfactant free from carbon-carbon triple bonds; or (c) a mixture of (a) and (b). The compositions are useful as an ink jet printing inks or as a concentrates from which such inks may be prepared. The compositions and inks have particularly good operability in ink jet printers and low viscosities may be achieved. |
