The program broadcasting time of digital television broadcast is adjusted by using a storage medium. Time data on the time when a program is broadcast in a zone whose standard time is the earliest in a wide region where a plurality of standard times are used is included in the signal of the program of a satellite broadcast transmitted to the wide region. The program is received and stored on a storage medium (103) of a television receiver (100), and the time data included in the signal is detected by a digital code detector (101). The broadcasting time is adjusted with reference to the standard time of the zone, and the program stored in the storage medium (103) is automatically reproduced. The program to be repeatedly broadcast during a day is stored in the storage medium (103) to automatically reproduce the program every time the program is broadcast repeatedly.
