DEVICE FOR REMOVING SCALES ON SURFACE OF WIRE

PURPOSE: A removal device of scales on the surface of a wire is provided to improve roughness on the surface of a wire of which scales are removed and to completely remove scales by maintaining pressurizing force of brushes without regard to the abrasion of the brushes. CONSTITUTION: By abrading brushes(50), pressurizing force is reduced. A pressurizing bar(21) is formed to be able to move lengthwise of a spline(42). The brushes including the pressurizing bar and a pressurizing piston(26) move according to the abraded length. Thus, pressurizing force between the brushes and the surface of a wire is kept in constant pressure. In removing scales on the surface of a wire, noise and scale dust are output due to rotational friction of the brushes rotating by contacting to the wire(100). The noise and scale dust are not leaked out of a device via structure of a closed space formed around the brushes and by a soundproof plate(62) and a filter(63) installed on the inner wall of the closed space.
