APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY RECOVERING ERROR OF SYSTEM RESOURCE IN SMALL SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically recovering error of system resource in a small switching system is provided to improve the reliability of a system by automatically checking whether an error is occurred in a system resource and restarting the system through a main processor when the error is occurred. CONSTITUTION: An input and output processor(105) provides check information and time information to a main processor(110) when an operator inputs check information to an error of a system resource and desired time information through an operator terminal(100). The main processor(110) sets provided time information to a time managing unit(111). The time managing unit(111) starts a time counting and informs a system check time to a state managing unit(112) when the set time is reached. The state managing unit(112) requests the check of the system resource to a state check unit(113). The state check unit(113) informs a check performance of a system to a function block unit(114) and a line processor(120). The function block unit(114) and the line processor(120) inform the performance result to the state check unit(113). The state check unit(113) transmits the performance result provided from the function block unit(114) and the line processor(120) to the state managing unit(112). The state managing unit(112) analyzes the check result transmitted from the state check unit(113) and restarts a start unit(115) when a voluntary system resource is detected as an abnormal state.
