PURPOSE: A structure of a mechanical chamber of a showcase for evaporating defrost water is provided to speedily evaporate defrost water collected in a drain water receiver without changing an installation area in the mechanical chamber. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a mechanical chamber of a showcase for evaporating defrost water includes a compressor(1), a condenser(2), a condenser fan(4) and a drain water receiver(9), wherein the condenser, the condenser fan and the compressor are installed in a diagonal direction for facing the fixed drain water receiver(9) to apply heat of the compressor and the condenser to the drain water receiver effectively without changing installation area of the mechanical chamber, wherein a front grill(7a) is installed by expanding in a lateral side of the mechanical chamber for smooth introduction of air in the diagonal direction.
