PURPOSE: A 3-dimensional model selection method is provided to effectively manipulate a 3-dimensional tree structure existing in the same space with a 3-dimensional model. CONSTITUTION: A 3-dimensional model selection method comprises steps of visualizing a hierarchical relation of the 3-dimensional model in a 3Dimensional tree structure, displaying just a first selected 3-dimensional model if the 3-dimensional model included in the lowest hierarchy is first selected, displaying a 2nd selected 3-dimensional model and the hierarchical structure if the 3-dimensional model included in the lowest hierarchy is second selected, displaying a 3rd selected 3-dimensional model and the hierarchical structure if the 3-dimensional model included in the lowest hierarchy is third selected, displaying a hierarchical structure of a 4th selected 3-dimensional model if the 3-dimensional model with a hierarchical structure not displayed is 4th selected, and selecting one function among rotating, converting, generating, deleting and grouping the displayed model.
