PROCESS FOR WASHING DEMISTER OF BENZENE SCRUBBER

PURPOSE: A process for washing a demister installed in the benzene scrubber using absorbing oil is provided which can wash effectively within a short time without decomposing it. CONSTITUTION: In a method of washing benzenes contained in the oven gas generated from the coke oven using low temperature absorbing oil, a demister (212A)(21B) is washed by blocking a course of low temperature absorbing oil that flows in one of benzene scrubbers (210A)(210B) and supplying a part of high temperature absorbing oil discharged a distillation column (260), high and low temperature absorbing oils discharged from the benzene scrubbers are introduced to a rich oil tank (220) for mixing, the heat amount of a heating furnace is increased to compensate the temperature fall of influent absorbing oil.
