PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adapter for close-photographing which is inexpensive and which can be mounted on a camera, irrespective of the structure of the camera main body. SOLUTION: This adapter is provided with a light transmission adapter main body 12, and a locking means for supporting the adapter main body 12 on the front part of a photographic lens for the camera, and a half mirror 14 for partly reflecting object light to project the photographer himself, and also reducing the quantity of light made incident on the photographic lens is formed on the surface of the adapter main body 12. The adapter main body 12 functions as an auxiliary lens or a wide lens for correcting the focal distance of the photographic lens for the camera to a close distance side, and the locking means is provided with a leg part 13, which extends so as to surround the photographic lens from the circumferential edge part of the adapter main body toward the front side of the camera body, and an adhering means 15 capable of freely detachably supporting the adapter main body 12 on the camera body surface is arranged at the leg part 13. It is preferable to integrally mold the adapter main body and the leg part of synthetic resin.
