APPARATUS FOR INSPECTING INTERIOR OF LIQUEFIED GAS TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior inspecting apparatus capable of being safely used within a combustible liquefied gas such as LNG and capable of freely moving in the liquefied gas and capable of precisely observing the inner surface of a liquefied gas tank during the operation. SOLUTION: An inspection head for inspecting a liquefied gas tank from the interior thereof and an in-liquid propelling device 16 moving the inspection head through the low temp. liquefied gas are provided. The in-liquid propelling device consists of a liquid chamber 17 taking in the low temp. liquefied gas in the liquefied gas tank to hold the same, a heater 18 heating the low temp. liquefied gas in the liquid chamber 17 and an ejection nozzle 19 connected to the liquid chamber 17 and ejecting the gas generated by heating the liquefied gas into the low temp. liquefied gas and the low temp. liquefied gas in the liquefied gas tank is heated to be gasified and the generated gas is ejected into the low temp. liquefied gas to generate propelling power.
