The dielectric gas measurement measures the pressure and temperature of a dielectric gas using a detector mounted in the line envelope. Compensation of the pressure measurement as a function of temperature to find the internal gas pressure is carried out using a curve (E) which represents the expected temperature difference between the temperature at the envelope surface and the mean temperature of the internal gas.
