<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new monoclonal antibody which is obtained by immunizing and sensitizing a mammalian with a specific protein capable of inducing the production of interferon-γ(IFN-γ) in an immunity-charging cell, is useful for purifying or detecting the protein by immunoaffinity chromatography, and immunologically reacts with the protein. SOLUTION: This monoclonal antibody is obtained by immunizing and sensitizing a mammalian with a protein or its antigenic fragment. The protein has an amino acid sequence of the formula (Xaa is methionine or threonine) or an amino acid sequence of the formula (but one or more amino acids are lacked, replaced or added), and can induce the production of IFN-γin immunity-charging cells. The antibody is obtained by fusing antibody-producing cells collected from a mammalian immunized and sensitized with the protein or its antigenic fragment with mammalian cells capable of unlimitedly growing, selecting a clone capable of producing the objective antibody from the obtained hybridomas, and then culturing the clone.</p> |
