摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable green bottle glass cullet or bottle glass cullet in which green bottle glass cullet is mixed to be effectively utilized by using bottle glass cullet in at least a part of glass raw material of hollow glass block produced by fusing open edges of a pair of block pieces having recessed parts. SOLUTION: Glass raw material is melted to be vitrified and the melted glass is formed into a pair of block pieces having recessed parts and open edges of both block pieces are fused to produce hollow glass block. In this time, bottle glass cullet is at least partially used as the glass raw material and specifically, the glass raw material contains 50-95 wt.% bottle glass cullet and 50-5 wt.% correction batch. A material containing 50-75 wt.% SiO2, 1.5-4 wt.% Al2O3, 3-25 wt.% MgO, 3-25 wt.% Na2O and 0.5-3 wt.% K2O expressed in terms of oxide is used as an auxiliary batch.
