PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inactive gas filling equipment for a drink container which is easy to operate without the need of skill and which prevents the deterioration or change in quality of contents by filling in the container inactive gas such as nitrogen gas. SOLUTION: The nozzle tube 16 of a nozzle unit 4 is inserted in a container 8. The sealing face S of a cap body 17 touches the mouth peripheral edge 8A of the container. When the switch 20 for starting filling is turned on, the electromagnetic value of a magnetic value unit is opened, and inactive gas is introduced into the container through an gas supply hose 6 and the nozzle tube from an inactive gas supply source. The air left in the container is removed to the outside of the container through the air exhaust groove G of the cap body, and the supply of the inactive gas into the container is stopped after the passage of a fixed time by an electromagnetic unit timer for shutting the electromagnetic valve.
