PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling gel sheet capable of bearing water in excess of the water bearing capability of a water-bearing polymer and having a long cooling time. SOLUTION: This cooling gel sheet has a support 1 and a water-bearing gel layer 2 disposed on at least one side of the support 1, and a water wrapping body 3 which supplies water to the water-bearing gel layer 2 by means of compressive stresses generated when the gel layer contracts because of transpiration of water from the water-bearing gel layer is formed within the water-bearing gel layer 2. Thus, since the cooling gel sheet has the water wrapping body 3 which gradually supplies water to the water-bearing gel layer by means of the compressive stresses resulting from transpiration of water from the water- bearing gel layer, cooling effects continue for a long time.
