PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that can help optimize cardiopulmonary resuscitation. SOLUTION: The system measures and analyzes cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) parameters by means of a defibrillator 1, which is connected to sensors for obtaining information on chest compression and lung expansion. On the basis of the information from the sensors, the defibrillator 1 determines parameters indicative of CPR operation results, which are in turn compared with corresponding parameters given by guidelines for recommended CPR, with the result that a voice message representative of the deviation of the actual CPR from the recommended CPR is created.
