PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire applicable to a high power passenger car and capable of improving in control stability and load durability without substantially causing the increase of a mass. SOLUTION: This pneumatic radial tire has three plies of carcass layers, each ply of which is formed of organic fiber cords angled 65-90 degrees to a tire peripheral direction, the first and second carcass layers 8, 9 inside of the tire out of three plies being turned at their ends inside to outside around bead cores 12, and a reinforcing layer 16 arranged outside the turn-around portions 8b, 9b of the carcass layers 8, 9, the third carcass layer 10 being wound up to cover the outside of the reinforcing layer 16. |
