PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cylindrical body in which the coupling torsional accuracy of a cylindrical member with a flange member is higher irrespective of the fitting length. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a cylindrical body to manufacture the cylindrical body in which a coupling part 131 of a flange member W1 is fitted in and coupled with an inner side of an end part of a cylindrical member W2, the inner side of the end part of the cylindrical member W2 is shrink-fitted to a coupling part of the flange member W1, the end part of the cylindrical member is heated to the first specified temperature for expansion, the inner side of the end part of the cylindrical member is loose fitted to the coupling part of the flange member, the coupling part of the flange member is inserted in the inner side of the end part of the cylindrical member by a first holding device 2A to hold the flange member, an abutting part 23A of the first holding device 2A is abutted on an abutting part 80A of a second holding device 2A to hold the cylindrical member, and the first holding device is released from the holding when the temperature of the cylindrical member reaches the second specified value while cooling the cylindrical member. |
