PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the horizontal leakage of noise and the like by dispersing the noise and soot upwardly by a method wherein the upper end of an exhaust pipe for an engine is communicated with a noise guide member, opened only upward. SOLUTION: The exhaust pipe of an engine is arranged vertically in a heat exchanging room 5 to discharge the exhaust gas from the engine to the outside of an outdoor machine 1. The exhaust pipe is projected upwardly out of a casing body 2m, however, the tip end of the same is deformed so as to have a reversed U-shape, then, is received in and communicated with a bottomed tubular body 70. According to such a constitution, the sound of exhaust gas, discharged out of the exhaust pipe through a first muffler and a second muffler 63c, is dispersed toward the opening direction of the tubular body 70 or upwardly whereby the sound of exhaust will not be dispersed horizontally so much. Further, soot in the exhaust gas is blown off by a fan 7 from the tubular body 70 and is dispersed upwardly whereby the soot will not be dispersed horizontally so much. |
