PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod type constant-velocity universal joint capable of further reducing the induced thrust generated in transmitting the rotational torque while forming a working angle by an outer joint member and a tripod member, and small in vibration. SOLUTION: A PCR 2 of an outer circumferential surface 3b of an inner roller 3 is deviated by a specified quantityΔH to a leg shaft base end side from a PCR1 of an outer circumferential surface 4b of an outer roller 4 so that a contact position S of the inner circumferential surface 4a of the outer roller 4 with the outer circumferential surface 3b of the inner roller 3 is located on the PCR1. The size of a guide clearance between a roller guide surface 1a1 and the outer circumferential surface 4b of the outer roller 4 is set to an optimum value capable of effectively reducing the induced thrust.
