PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat storing material compsn. which does not require use of a strongly poisonous nucleus forming agent, and is good in heat storage temp., amt. of stored heat, and prevention of super cooling. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate, sodium acetate trihydrate and sodium thiosulfate dihydrate, at the ratios of 0.5-53 mol% of sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate, 27.5-96 mol% of sodium acetate trihydrate and 3.5-50 mol% of sodium thiosulfate dihydrate, based on the whole moles of these compds.
