PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate welding of a member having a curved surface. SOLUTION: A friction stirring welding equipment is placed on L-shaped projected pieces 3, 4 in proximity to the weld zone of panels 1, 2. Rollers 6, 7 are in press-contact with the tip end of the projected pieces 3, 4. The upper and the lower flange of the rollers 6, 7 can come into contact with the upper and the lower face of the projected pieces. Using the projected pieces as rails, the friction stirring welding equipment is moved while the rotor 5 is inserted into the weld zone.
