cotton spinning industry, in particular, equipment for regulating linear density of fibrous ribbon on combing and ribbon machines. SUBSTANCE: regulator has drive roller connected to sensor responsive to variations in ribbon linear density, control roller and feedback sensor electrically connected to electric engine of mechanism for moving belt on machine conoids. Mechanism has fork kinematically connected to electric engine and rectilinear guide arranged at an angle to direction of advancement of fork. Roller is pressed to rectilinear guide. Control roller is eccentrically mounted on shaft carrying lever with sensor responsive to variations in ribbon linear density. Feedback sensor is disposed in zone of contact-free action of sensor responsive to variations in ribbon linear density. EFFECT: simplified construction, enhanced reliability in operation and prolonged service life. 1 dwg
