PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pop-out type lock handle device for an automatic vending machine in which the handle is retained in a retreat and rotation position thereby preventing the replacement of sub-lock unit from being disturbed by the handle. SOLUTION: By sliding a stopper plate 14 in a direction with which deviation from the outer peripheral ring 25 of the sub-lock unit 8 occurs, a lock plate 19 connected to the stopper plate 14 by an interlocking pin rotates in the direction of a shaft cylinder portion 2a and links with a side face receiving portion 17 of the inner cylinder 3 which has rotated to an evacuating position together with the shaft portion of the handle.
