PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type endoscope device wherein a substance adhered in a channel is prevented from being solidified while the portable type endoscope device is carried back to a hospital. SOLUTION: This portable type endoscope device 10 is constituted of an endoscope 1 of a water-tight structure, a battery type light source of a water- tight structure, which is selectively detachable from the endoscope 1, and a washing assisting utensil 7 which is arranged in the channel of the endoscope 1. The washing assisting utensil 7 is constituted of a first lid body 71 which closes the channel base end opening 12 of an operation section 3 under a water- tight state, a second lid body 72 which closes the tip end opening of an insertion section 2, and an insert-passing section 73 which is insert-passed and arranged extending to the total length of the suction channel 11. The insert-passing section 73 is formed of a core metal member having flexibility, and a liquid-absorbing section formed of a liquid-absorbing member having a liquid-absorbing property, which is arranged extending to almost the total length of the core metal member, and into which a washing liquid is infiltrated. In this case, the liquid absorbing section is arranged in a manner to approx. closely join to the inner peripheral surface of the channel under a liquid-absorbed state.
