PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame adjusting device which can be manufactured at a low cost and simply assembled to a frame, and a frame fitting method. SOLUTION: This frame adjusting device includes a cylindrical body 5, an adjusting member 2 having a through hole 24 and a plate spring 3 freely rotatably fitted to the tip of the adjusting member 2, wherein a tool driver is engaged with driver engagement parts 23...23 provided on the adjusting member 2, and the adjusting member 2 is screw-engaged through the tool driver with the cylindrical body 5 inserted in a pierced hole 111 of a frame 110. Thus, the cylindrical body 5 and the adjusting member 2 are energized by the elastic force of the plate spring 3 to be supported on the frame 110. According to this frame 110 fitting method, a vertical line is drawn in the inner peripheral part of an opening 101 of a building, the frame 110 to which the frame adjusting device 10 is assembled as described above is disposed in the opening 101, and the through hole 24 of the frame adjusting device 10 is looked through from the inner peripheral side of the frame 110 to positinally align the through hole 24 with the vertical line.
