PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent waterproofing method excellent work efficiency without emitting any odor and realizing a waterproof structure firmly connected between the surface of a substrate and an adhesive layer with practically sufficient adhesive force. SOLUTION: In such a waterproof method as a waterproof sheet formed by drying the application of a pressure-sensitive adhesive to one side thereof in advance after a primer and the water system pressure-sensitive adhesive are applied to the surface of a substrate in due order puts the adherent surface thereof on the water system pressure-sensitive adhesive applied surface to monolithically connect them to each other, as the primer, one of the following (A)-(C) is used, (A) water system primer including no cement as main ingredients having two component reaction epoxy emulsion, (B) water system primer having two component reaction epoxy emulsion and cement as main ingredients, (C) water system primer having acrylic emulsion and cement as main ingredients.
