PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a machining tool and a moving route forming method, which can move the axial center of the processing tool at equal speed along a circular path coaxially drawn in the center axis of a hole. SOLUTION: The axis of a machining tool is moved along a machining route 31 specified by a first circle. As a result, a hole 28 is bored in a work. Since the axis is led to the machining route at a definite speed through an introducing route 33 specified by a second circle incribed in the first circle, consequently, no strain is incurred in a circular path drawn by the axis of the machining tool. Furthermore, since the axis accordingly escapes at a definite speed from the machining route 31 through a standby route 34 specified along the second circle inscribed in the first circle, accordingly, no strain is incurred in a circular path drawn by the axis of the machining tool.
