PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax an impact generated when a side boom is shaken rearwardly upon the reception of external force from an obstacle such as a standing tree or the like during work due to a boom sprayer and subsequently returned to the original position. SOLUTION: The cushioning device of a boom sprayer interposed between the end part of a center boom 18 and the side boom made freely revolvable at the end part of the center boom 18 and expansible toward the lateral side of machine body is constituted so as to have the vertical shaft 22 provided to the end part of the center boom 18 supporting the base end of the side boom 16 in a shakable manner, the arm 80 supported on the other ends of the expansion and contraction devices 88, 89 supported at one ends thereof by the center boom 18 and made shakable around the vertical shaft 22 by the expansion and contraction of the expansion and contraction devices 88, 89, the interval member 116 interposed between the arm 80 and the side boom 16 and supported so as be able to contact and separate with respect to either one of them and the biassing member 94 for biassing the interval member 116 in a contact direction.
