PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner having a housing case, wherein the suction port of the vacuum cleaner body is not exposed to the outside under a state wherein the vacuum cleaner body is housed. SOLUTION: Accessories such as a hose 10 are housed in a case 20 of which the upper surface is open, and at the same time, a vacuum cleaner body 1 is mounted and housed on a mounting section which is formed in an upper surface opening 41, in this vacuum cleaner having a housing case. In this case, on the housing case 20, a covering section (case internal surface 40a) to cover a suction port 8 of the vacuum cleaner body 1 under a state wherein the vacuum cleaner body 1 is mounted on the mounting section (a rear wheel receiving section 42 and a protruding section 43), is provided.
