PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure by reducing the number of part items for a replenishing liquid passage as much as possible. SOLUTION: A sleeve 68 is arranged inside a cylindrical master cylinder housing 70 having a rear end opening part, and a cap 69 for supporting this sleeve 68 in the axial direction is treadedly, engaged with the housing 70 so as to block up the rear end opening part. A radial directional hole 58 bored in a front end part of a primary piston 43 communicates with a master cylinder reservoir 61 via clearance between an outer peripheral surface of the primary piston 43 and an inner peripheral surface of a third hole 7, a passage hole 59 bored in the cap 69 between second/third cup seals 46, 47 and a passage hole 60 bored in the housing 70. The passage hole 59 of the cap 69 is composed of a circumferential groove 59a extending in the radial direction and an inclined hole 59b continuously extending in the axial direction from this circumferential groove 59a, and a replenishing liquid passage to a primary chamber 52 is composed of these passage hole 58 and passage hole 60. |
